Program Objectives and Scope
The AYD Program was established by the Koruncuk Foundation in 2021 to ensure girls have uninterrupted access to education. The program aims to provide basic needs and psychosocial support to girls living with their families, as well as those supported at Koruncukköy, throughout their educational journey.
Program, 10-18 yaş aralığında, örgün eğitime devam eden ve eğitime erişimi sosyoekonomik koşullar nedeniyle risk altındaki kız çocuklarını kapsamaktadır.
Support given during an educational journey can change not only the present but also the entire future of a child. By contributing to the educational journey of children within the Family Support Program, you can help them grow up safely within their families.
Types of Support
The program aims to meet the educational needs of the girls involved, support their academic development, and ensure their well-being. Therefore, through collaborative efforts with families, the program supports children in continuing their educational journey and developing goals for their future.
The support is not provided as one-time financial aid, but rather in regular installments and in cash, tailored to the needs of the child and family.
Basic Needs Support
As part of the program, we offer support in various areas to help children with their education and meet the basic needs of their families.
- Clothing support
- Pocket money support
- 9 months of school transportation support
- Book and stationery support
- Food support
- Hygiene supplies support
Academic and Developmental Support
Exam and Lesson Preparation: Online or in-person classroom support
Academic Tracking: Regular progress monitoring and academic counseling.
Psychosocial and Family Support
Guidance & Family Counseling: Expert monitoring to ensure the child's well-being.
Corporate Orientation: Collaboration and guidance with public and non-governmental organizations for the diverse needs of the child or family.
The AYD Program aims to bring about lasting change in the lives of girls and their families.
- Education Continues Uninterrupted To prevent children from dropping out of school due to financial difficulties.
- Academic and Life Skills To prepare them for their professional and independent life goals by unlocking their potential for success.
- Empowering Children and Families Together By making the family a part of the process, we can ensure they provide stronger support for the child's development.
Monitoring and Tracking
In the AYD Program, each child's education and development process is regularly monitored throughout the program.
- Regular meetings are held with children and families.
- Students' school attendance, academic progress, educational motivation, and needs are monitored.
- A progress review is conducted with the child and family at the end of each academic year.
