Advocacy Activities
Since its establishment in 1979, the Koruncuk Foundation has been carrying out preventive and rehabilitative work to ensure that children whose rights are at risk can take their place in society as confident individuals. The Koruncuk Foundation works with civil society organizations and universities to remove obstacles to children's access to their rights in our country, raise awareness in society, and produce lasting solutions.
Platform for the Protection of Children and Their Rights:
The Koruncuk Foundation, adhering to the principle of "the best interests of the child" as stated in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, has established the Platform for the Protection of Children's Rights by bringing together more than 20 NGOs working to protect children's rights and reduce risks to their access to these rights. The platform aims to raise awareness and build capacity regarding children's rights in society by sharing the results of its research with the public.
Partnership Network for Preventing Violence Against Children:
Koruncuk Foundation is a member of the Partnership Network, established to strengthen the monitoring role of civil society in preventing violence against children. The Partnership Network, comprised of national and local NGOs working for the benefit of children in Türkiye, university units focusing on children's issues, professional organizations, bar associations, and other networks, organizes training sessions, information meetings, conferences, and symposiums for NGOs.
