Allianz Turkey, through its multifaceted and long-term corporate social responsibility program "A Girl for the Future," becomes a lifelong supporter of girls at risk of lacking access to basic needs and education. As part of the program's mission, carried out in collaboration with the Koruncuk Foundation, and with the support of the Allianz Group, the foundations of a new dormitory building were laid on April 17, 2025, in a ceremony. The new building aims to increase the existing capacity of the Koruncuk Foundation. Furthermore, with its vision of being a lifelong supporter of Koruncuk Girls, Allianz Turkey provides them with university scholarships and creates opportunities for their development and employment.

Focus areas of the layered and long-term program

Allianz Türkiye's "“A Girl Will Come”" program "“Human-Centered”Within this framework, with the support of the Allianz Group, 25 girls affected by the February 6th earthquakes will join the Koruncuk Foundation for four years. The aim is to ensure that these children become healthy, strong, self-confident, productive, value-creating, and responsible individuals aware of their rights, by providing them with socio-economic preventive, protective, and rehabilitative solutions. They will also be provided with shelter, access to education, and counseling services.
The program's“Institutional Focus”"In this context, action will be taken to enable the Koruncuk Foundation to protect and provide a home for more girls. With the support of the Allianz Group and Allianz Türkiye, the foundation's capacity will be increased with the construction of a new dormitory building. The construction of the new building, which will be located in Koruncukköy in Bolluca, Istanbul, is planned to be completed in 2026.".
“University Focus”In this category, the Koruncuk Foundation, which serves children aged 10-18, supports Koruncuk girls who have to leave high school. Allianz Turkey provides support to all Koruncuk girls who are accepted into two-year or four-year university programs throughout their university education, without requiring any academic achievement criteria.
Allianz Türkiye, with its vision of being a lifelong supporter of Koruncuk girls, developed the “A Girl Will Come”" program "“Development and Employment Focus”In this context, the project aims to support Koruncuk girls in acquiring a profession and becoming self-sufficient after their education. As part of this focus, mentoring programs are developed for Koruncuk girls at the high school level to help them make more informed choices about their post-high school career choices. Insurer Koruncuk girls who aspire to a career will receive vocational training after high school. University graduates from Koruncuk who aim to work in the private sector will have quotas allocated in Allianz Turkey's internship programs, and employment opportunities will also be created within Allianz Turkey or its distribution channels.

Allianz Türkiye, with its mission to provide lifelong support to girls at risk of lacking access to basic needs and education, has launched this project in collaboration with the Koruncuk Foundation. A Girl Will Come Allianz Turkey is taking its corporate social responsibility project a step further. As part of the multi-faceted program's "Corporate Focus" component, the foundations were laid for a new dormitory building in Bolluca, Arnavutköy, Istanbul, to increase the capacity of the Koruncuk Foundation. The ceremony, hosted by Allianz Turkey CEO Tolga Gürkan and Koruncuk Foundation Board of Trustees and Chairman Dr. Figen Samuray, was attended by numerous guests.
Koruncuk Foundation will provide a home for more girls.
The building, to be located at the Koruncuk Foundation's Bolluca facilities in Arnavutköy, Istanbul, will have a total area of 2,230 square meters. This area will include rooms for girls, social areas, rest areas, a library, and a dining hall. As with the foundation's other girls' dormitories, the new building will offer a wide range of services including accommodation, access to education, socio-cultural activities, and counseling, all based on preventive, protective, and rehabilitative socio-economic solutions. Within the scope of the "A Girl for the Future" program's mission, the new dormitory building aims to increase the Koruncuk Foundation's existing capacity and provide a home for more girls.
Together we built a new home!
The new girls' dormitory, completed in Bolluca, Istanbul, as part of the "A Girl for the Future" program implemented in collaboration with Allianz Turkey and the Koruncuk Foundation, was opened with a ceremony held on June 9, 2026. The dormitory, realized with the support of approximately 3 million euros from Allianz Turkey and the Allianz Group, aims to provide a safe, sustainable, and long-term living and educational environment for girls at risk of lacking access to basic needs and education.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of public institutions, executives from Allianz Türkiye and the Allianz Group, representatives from the Koruncuk Foundation, and numerous other guests.
Built on a total area of 2,230 square meters, the new dormitory building includes rooms for children as well as common living areas, a dining hall, a library, and social spaces. The new building aims to increase the Koruncuk Foundation's capacity to provide a safe home and educational support to even more girls.
