Koruncuk Foundation celebrated its 2nd Annual Year-End Festival with its supporters, marking graduation and the opening of its new dormitory building!
On June 23rd, the Koruncuk Foundation held its 2nd Annual Year-End Celebration at Koruncukköy Bolluca, bringing together partners who support girls' educational journeys. The event highlighted the girls' hard work and progress throughout the year, and expressed gratitude to the corporate and individual supporters who contributed to the completion of the new girls' dormitory.
At the ceremony held as part of the Year-End Celebration, plaques were presented to the institutions and individuals who supported the realization of the new dormitory through monetary donations, in-kind support, technical expertise, and volunteer contributions. Throughout the day, the importance of solidarity and joint effort in strengthening the children's educational journey was emphasized.
Speaking at the ceremony, Attorney Dr. Figen Samuray, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees and Management Board of the Koruncuk Foundation, highlighted the Koruncuk Foundation's child-centered approach and the importance of girls growing up in safe, supportive living environments.
Samuray stated in his speech, “The most valuable investment that determines the future of a country is building a future where children can grow up safely. As the Koruncuk Foundation, we believe not only in the current conditions of children but also in their untapped potential. We believe that giving them the feeling that 'you exist, you are valuable, and we are behind you' has a very powerful impact on their educational journey.‘.
Samurai thanked all the supporters who contributed to the completion of the new dormitory, stating that this joint effort created lasting value for the future of girls.
“The solidarity we see here today is not just support for the completion of a building; it is a demonstration of faith in a future where girls can grow up safely, continue their education, and forge their own paths. I sincerely thank all our supporters who have been with us on this journey.”
The Koruncuk Foundation's 2nd Annual Celebration concluded as a meaningful gathering that brought together the children's efforts, the supporters' contributions, and the growing solidarity for girls' educational journey.

During the completion process of the new girls' dormitory, in addition to the strong partnership of our main supporter Allianz Türkiye, a wide network of supporters joined forces, ranging from in-kind support and technical infrastructure to monetary donations and sustainability solutions.
The valuable contribution of the Allianz Group and Allianz Türkiye to providing girls with a safe, supportive, and modern living environment played a decisive role in the realization of the project. This strong solidarity was also accompanied by numerous institutions and individual supporters who contributed in various fields.

The ceremony concluded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of the new dormitory building, following a group photograph taken with all the supporters.
