We are in this together during the post-disaster recovery process!
As Koruncuk Foundation, since the earthquake of February 6th;
- We delivered our support to the earthquake zones within the first 24 hours.
- At Koruncuk Foundation Girls' Dormitories, we have increased our capacity without needing any additional construction. We have accepted, and continue to accept, girls from the earthquake zone into our dormitories.
- At Koruncuk Foundation Girls' Dormitories, we have prioritized applications from girls affected by the earthquake.
- As a founding member of the Disaster Platform, we have been regularly directing support to the aid depots established at Hatay Expo to meet their water needs.
- We sent 5 educational tents to Kahramanmaraş Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Primary School and provided regular stationery supplies. We continue our support by monitoring their current needs.
- We sent 6 event tents and the necessary materials to the tent camps in Kahramanmaraş. We are continuing our support by monitoring current needs.
- We sent educational containers for two classrooms to Hatay Defne Tent City and provided stationery support. We continue our support by monitoring current needs.
- We have increased the capacity of our Family Support Program, through which we support girls alongside their families. We are supporting children living in tent cities and container settlements in the earthquake zone, along with their families, on the condition that the girl continues her formal education.
Throughout this process, we continue to stand by our girls and their families with long-term, consistent support.
We would like to thank all of our corporate and individual donors for their support!
