Koruncuk Foundation and Yemek Sepeti Collaboration
As part of a campaign launched specifically for Sharing Day in aid of the Koruncuk Foundation, every order placed through the "Sharing Day" category on the Yemeksepeti Banabi application was donated to the Koruncuk Foundation at double the amount. Over 15,000 orders were placed for the 67-item "Sharing Day" category, resulting in a total donation of over 30,000 items to Koruncukköy.
“"We are expanding our 'Return to Family' Psychosocial Support Model."”
“We have completed the second online training session for our "Return to Family Psychosocial Support Model" specialist training.
“In this training, where we aimed to "improve family function and thus promote healthy childhood by strengthening families' attachment, caregiving, and trauma coping skills," we brought together mental health professionals working in public and non-governmental organizations.

Happy World Volunteer Day, December 5th!
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our 363 volunteers who walked, ran, swam, and launched campaigns throughout the year to support our children's access to education, and to our 4,335 donors who supported our volunteers.

Volunteers from the Koruncuk Foundation gathered at the Fatima Cafe inside the Istanbul Maritime Museum for a "Welcome to the New Year" event held for the benefit of the Foundation. Speaking at the opening of the event, Koruncuk Foundation General Manager Oya Aydınlık emphasized the importance of regular donations to ensure children have uninterrupted access to quality education.
In her speech at the event, Jülide Berkman, a member of the Koruncuk Foundation's Board of Directors, thanked the trustees and Friends of Koruncuk who have always supported the Foundation, and presented a plaque of appreciation to Fatma Semiz, the owner of Fatima Cafe, the venue and hospitality sponsor of the event, for her support.
How was 2021 at the Koruncuk Foundation?
Kız çocuklarımızın eğitime kesintisiz olarak erişebilmeleri için siz Koruncuk Dostları’nın da değerli destekleri ile pek çok kampanyayı başarıyla hayata geçirdik. 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında mezun olan Koruncukların %85’i üniversiteli olurken, yeni Koruncuklarımız aramıza katıldı. Pandeminin yarattığı olumsuz koşullara rağmen, eğitimlerine her zamanki gibi istek ve azimle devam eden çocuklarımızın akademik başarı oranı %74 artış gösterdi.
