Bilgili Culture Schools Provide Meaningful Support to Koruncuk Girls
The Traditional Winter Festival, organized for the 10th time this year by Özel Bilgili Kültür Schools, was held in aid of the Koruncuk Foundation to support the education and right to a safe life for girls.
At the 46 different stands set up in the event area, food, souvenirs and handmade products were offered to visitors, while play areas, stage shows, mini concerts and mascot characters provided a fun-filled day for children and families.
She became a source of hope for the future of girls.
The Winter Festival, which traditionally hosts a social responsibility project each year, this year supported the construction of the Girls' Middle School Dormitory in Istanbul, being built by the Koruncuk Foundation, with all its proceeds. Thanks to this contribution, a significant step has been taken to ensure that girls whose basic needs and access to education are at risk can live in a safe environment and continue their education without interruption.
In his speech, İsmail Aydemir, General Manager of Bilgili Culture Schools, emphasized that education is not only about academic success; individuals raised with a sense of social responsibility are the hope for the future.
Serkan Çıtlak, the Koruncuk Board of Directors' Support, Projects and Official Affairs Manager, thanked the Bilgili Culture Schools family, parents, and everyone involved for this meaningful support that touches the lives of girls, and emphasized the importance of such collaborations in empowering girls.
At the end of the event, Bilgili Culture Schools were presented with a plaque of appreciation by the Koruncuk Foundation for their valuable contributions to the education of girls. Additionally, members of the school's parent-teacher association presented flowers to Selin Çizmeci, a member of the Koruncuk Foundation's Board of Directors, in recognition of their support for the foundation.
