EU Project – Focus Group Meeting Outcomes

Within the scope of the Civil Society Support Program III, we conducted our first expert training for our project, “Empowering Children by Supporting Families.” In the “Psychosocial Support in Returning to Family - Basic Skills Practitioner Training,” we met with mental health professionals working in the field. We are working to develop the strategy for our campaign, which will take place in the later stages of the project, and to develop an ‘Advocacy, Strategy, and Action Plan.“.

N Kolay 43rd Istanbul Marathon

We experienced the excitement of the N Kolay 43rd Istanbul Marathon, held on November 7, 2021, together with our Koruncuk children at the Cheer Zone points. As part of the marathon, 263 runners launched campaigns to support our children's university dreams, reaching 2550 donors. A total of 585,406 TL was raised, contributing to the education of 195 girls.

Koruncuk Foundation and Izmir Institute of Technology Collaboration

A cooperation protocol was signed between the Koruncuk Foundation and Izmir Institute of High Technology to increase social responsibility projects for our children.

The signing ceremony of the protocol was attended by the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees and Management Board of Koruncuk Foundation, Attorney Dr. Figen Samuray, and General Manager Oya Aydınlık, as well as the Rector of Izmir Institute of Technology, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Baran, and the Coordinator of Social Responsibility Projects, Dr. Ozan Uştuk.

Nivea and Gratis support children from Koruncuk.

As part of this collaboration, Nivea and Gratis supported the one-year education of our Koruncuk children with every Nivea product purchase made at Gratis throughout November.

Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Board of Trustees

The Koruncuk Foundation held its Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of Trustees on Friday, November 26th, under the chairmanship of the President of the Koruncuk Foundation Board of Trustees and Management Board, Attorney Dr. Figen Samuray.

At the meeting, where the agenda items of the General Assembly were evaluated together, the 2022 budget was discussed, and plaques were presented to the stakeholders who supported the Foundation's work throughout the year.
