The Koruncuk Foundation Family visited Atatürk's mausoleum at Anıtkabir!

The Koruncuk Foundation, which works to ensure that girls at risk of lacking access to education can take their place in society as confident individuals, visited Anıtkabir on Saturday, November 26th, to commemorate the 84th anniversary of the death of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the Founder of our Republic. This visit, the first of its kind in the history of the Koruncuk Foundation, included children and staff, as well as the President of the Koruncuk Foundation Board of Trustees and Management Board, Attorney Dr. Figen Samuray, children supported in the Koruncuk Villages in Bolluca and Urla, and the Koruncuk Foundation team. Led by Attorney Dr. Figen Samuray, the delegation laid wreaths and carnations at the mausoleum of our Chief Teacher Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and observed a moment of silence. The ceremony concluded with Samuray signing the Anıtkabir Special Register.

Nalan Erkarakaş, a member of the Koruncuk Foundation's Board of Directors, received the "Contribution to Life Award" on behalf of the Koruncuk Foundation at the 11th annual Bahattin Tatış "Being Present in the Future" Award Ceremony. This ceremony, held to honor individuals who uphold the values and principles of Bahattin Tatış, the founder and mathematics teacher of İzmir Private Turkish College, aims to illuminate the path for future generations.

The # Forum on Supporting Children's Participation in Social Life took place.

The Koruncuk Foundation and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality collaborated to organize a forum titled "Supporting Children's Participation in Social Life." The forum, moderated by Koruncuk Foundation Board Member Attorney Seda Akço, aimed to increase children's participation in society and was attended by Koruncuk Foundation Board of Trustees and Chairman Attorney Dr. Figen Samuray, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Women and Family Services Branch Manager Şenay Gül, and representatives from civil society organizations working in the field of children's rights.
