With the support of Allianz Turkey, the foundations of a new dormitory were laid at the Koruncuk Foundation's campus in Bolluca, Istanbul. The foundation provides free housing, care, health, and all other needs for girls at risk of lacking access to basic necessities and education.
Koruncuk Foundation supports girls who are eager to learn but face difficulties accessing education due to social, economic, and geographical reasons., without the prerequisite of academic achievement from middle school to university completely free shelter and care services By providing this, we support them in accessing education and preparing for life in a warm family environment.
As part of the “A Girl for the Future” program launched by Allianz Türkiye on the 100th anniversary of the Republic, the foundation stone was laid for a dormitory building to be constructed at the Koruncuk Foundation’s Bolluca campus in Istanbul. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Istanbul Deputy Governor Hasan Gözen, Arnavutköy Deputy Mayor Kemal Aygenli, Arnavutköy District National Education Director Mustafa Yılmaz, Allianz Turkey CEO Tolga Gürkan, Koruncuk Foundation Board of Trustees and Chairman Dr. Figen Samuray, and numerous other guests.
With the completion of the dormitory building, Koruncukköy Bolluca's capacity will increase, and more girls will be able to nurture their dreams in this safe haven.

The dormitory building, whose foundations were laid through a collaboration between the Koruncuk Foundation and Allianz Turkey, will cover an area of 2,230 square meters and will include every space needed by girls. From living areas to the library, from social and recreation areas to the cafeteria, every detail has been designed for the development of children.
The new dormitory building will maintain the standards of the existing dormitories served by the Koruncuk Foundation and will include rooms for girls, social areas, rest areas, a library, and a dining hall. With the increased capacity of the dormitories, the Foundation's many services, including preventive, protective, and rehabilitative solutions for socioeconomic needs, as well as access to housing, education, socio-cultural activities, and counseling, will reach more girls.
The dormitory building will be more than just a physical structure; it will offer children, especially girls affected by the February 6th earthquakes, a chance to heal and start over.

This long-term collaboration we have established with Allianz Turkey is not just a sponsorship; it is the name of a people-centered, sustainable solidarity.”
