As Koruncuk Foundation, we visited Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin.
As the Koruncuk Foundation, we visited Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin in her office. During the visit, we shared comprehensive information about our Foundation's work to support girls' access to education and our long-term support models.
During the meeting, the increased needs in the region following the earthquake, the steps that need to be taken to prevent girls from dropping out of education, and areas of cooperation that can be established with local administrations were discussed. As Koruncuk Foundation, we shared our work and field experiences in ensuring that girls have access to safe, supportive, and high-quality educational environments.
We thank Ms. Fatma Şahin for her kind hospitality and valuable insights, and we strongly emphasize the importance of continuing our cooperation with public institutions to empower girls and ensure equal opportunities in education.
