We support girls' access to education by prioritizing earthquake-affected regions.

Applications for Koruncuk Foundation Girls' Student Dormitories, where we prioritize girls affected by the earthquake, continue until April 15th.

Applications for the Koruncuk Foundation Girls' Student Dormitories, which prioritize girls affected by the earthquake, have been extended until April 15th. Without requiring academic achievement as a prerequisite, we provide services in our Koruncuk Villages in Istanbul and Izmir for girls aged 10-18 who are eager to learn and whose access to education is at risk. In addition to care and accommodation, we support the academic, health, and psychosocial development of these girls. We continue to accept applications from all over Türkiye for the Koruncuk Foundation Girls' Student Dormitories until April 15th.

We completed our # visit to the disaster areas.

Following the earthquake disaster that affected 11 provinces on February 6, 2023, we conducted field visits in the disaster area to explain our efforts and establish contacts to support girls at risk of losing access to education, prioritizing those in the earthquake zones.

On the first day of our field visit, led by the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees and Management Board of the Koruncuk Foundation, Attorney Dr. Figen Samuray, we met with the Hatay Earthquake Region Coordinator Governor Okay Memiş and toured the tent cities in the region. We also visited the Hatay Expo warehouse of the Disaster Platform, of which we are a founding member and with which we continue to provide support for the needs in the earthquake zones.

On the second day of our field visit, we shared our work with Mutlu Kaya, the Provincial Director of Family and Social Services in Kahramanmaraş, Fatih Demirdöğen, the Deputy Provincial Director of Family and Social Services in Kahramanmaraş, and Lütfiye Taş, the Deputy Provincial Director of Family and Social Services in Gaziantep, and discussed potential collaborations.

We visited Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Primary School, to which we provided tent and stationery support after the earthquake, and learned about their current needs.

In these times when we need sharing and mutual support the most, we are sharing the blessings of Ramadan with our Koruncuk children and their families through the "Goodness Package".

The # Koruncuk Foundation Ordinary General Assembly Meeting was held.

The Koruncuk Foundation's Ordinary General Assembly meeting was held on March 22, 2023, with the participation of the Koruncuk Foundation's Board of Trustees. During the meeting, where agenda items were discussed jointly, the Koruncuk Foundation's 2021-2022 accounts were approved, and the new Board of Trustees, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Board Members, and Auditor General Members were elected.

The Chairperson of the Koruncuk Foundation's Board of Trustees and Management Board for 2023-2024 is once again Attorney Dr. Z. Figen Samuray, who has served as the Foundation's Chairperson for the past two years.
