Schools should be spaces where children feel safe, continue their development, and realize their potential. It is impossible to speak of the right to education in an environment where the safety of students and teachers cannot be guaranteed.
Strengthening protective and preventive mechanisms to prevent violence in educational settings is vital. We believe this responsibility should be shared jointly by public institutions, educators, civil society, and all segments of society.
